Slim and beautiful antique giltwood pier mirror, having original mirror with that desirable foxing in exquisite and highly decorative frame adorned with foliage and shell crest to centre, flanked by decorative flowers and scrolls. This antique mirror retains its original glass, original gilt and original backboards, fitted with four wall fixings, all in home ready condition. This is truly beautiful mirror in original condition throughout. This striking piece is crafted from wood and plaster /gesso and finished in gold leaf, showcasing the ornate craftsmanship typical of the mid-19th century. No woodworm, no missing decoration, sturdy and solid. It would make a good hall table / console table mirror, wall mirror or overmantel mirror. This elegant mirror would grace any interior.
