Simple, elegant and stylish Victorian solid oak peat or coal bucket, having copper bounds and copper handle, all showing original oak peg construction throughout. This antique bucket would make a good kindling or log bucket as well as a planter. The timber is woodworm free, solid and sturdy, metal bounds and the handle have been sympathetically cleaned, polished. This antique bucket retains good colour, mellow patina and antique character, all in good home ready condition. c1880
