A very attractive gilded mirror, having original bevelled edge glass with some foxing in beautifully carved frame with beaded edge and leafy scrolls throughout finished with a shell and floral crest to the top. The frame is richly embellished with classical motifs and beautifully modelled crest, making it a standout decorative item ideal for traditional and modern interiors. This antique mirror retains its original gilded finish, original glass plate and backboards, all in excellent home ready condition. The glass has a hand scribed date 11 3 69 which leads us to believe this mirror was made then. No missing elements, woodworm free and sturdy. All in good condition, sympathetically restored. 1869
