Two large, delicately painted contemporary oil paintings sourced in Italy. The artist has used traditional materials and methods including gesso on hessian canvas. One depicts a pair of exotic birds entwined; the second matching painting beautifully shows a scene in nature of a colourful bird sitting upon a branch and surrounded by butterflies.
