A beautiful pair of Louis XV style fruitwood bedside cabinets with cabriole legs and marquetry inlay on the top, sides and lower shelf.

They are deeper than they are wide; they each have drawers on the front and rather unusually, there are little pull out trays at the back each with a leather surface.

The top is protected by glass, making it very practical to use.

The drawer handles are made of brass, which is echoed with further detailing on the feet.

Two exquisite pieces in very good condition, sourced from a townhouse in the Loire Valley.
