A beautiful mirror of large proportions from a chateau in the Loire Valley.

 

Original old paint and mirror plate which is foxed and pitted.

 

NB. A piece of glass has been added to the reverse; an area of the mercury plate had worn away at the front and this has been added to 'patch' it.
