Early 20th Century oil on canvas painting of a pointer in the field. Cleaned and Restored, Signed by Belgian Artist A. Clarys (1857 - 1920) Circa 1890. Alexandre Clarys Studied under Ernest Blanc Garin (1843-1916) at the Academy of Fine Arts Brussels. Specialising in Animal Paintings most notably dogs and Horses. Among his many patrons was King Albert 1 who commissioned a portrait of his horse Montjoie.
