19th Century Scale hull model or Maquette of a Whaleboat. Plank on frame construction complete with bottom boards and gangplanks. The original, approximately 40ft in length was probably used by the Royal Navy or for commercial whaling. Similar examples can be found in the Royal Museums Greenwich. Excellent patination. Circa 1880.
