Large Estate Made Dairy Table. An absolute essential for the 19th century English country house. Probably located in the kitchens and used to work from, one side of the top surface has more wear than the other. The painted finish is worn in places - most notably, as is common, the base of each leg from daily mopping of the floor. The top surface has, as expected, a lifetime of authentic wear Large Drawer on one side taking the full width of the table. Lightly cleaned and waxed. It would comfortably seat 8. Historical painted surface, extraordinary wear and patination. Pine, England, Circa 1880.
