Mid 20th Century Brutalist sculptural slate cast iron table
A Highly decorative hand crafted Brutalist wrought iron slate table, from the South of France. It is constructed from a solid wrought iron (riveted) base, upon which sits a naturally formed thick piece of slate, weighing close to 40kg. A highly sculptural and organic piece of artistic furniture, in our humble opinion.

Condition Report
In overall good condition, this is a natural formation so expect wear and tear, the item is solid and firmly in place. The surface of the slate has some light speckles of coloured paint as shown, they can be removed if you wish. The iron base shows signs of brown rust. A very heavy item which is reflected in the cost of shipping.
