Early 20th Century American Tramp Art Cabinet
With its original glass, lock and key still intact, this wonderful example of an early 20th-century American tramp art cabinet remains both highly functional and beautifully decorative. The cabinet is richly covered in intricate chip-carved detailing and features a single drawer set beneath the crown. A new pine backing board has been fitted, but otherwise the piece remains untouched, retaining its wonderfully authentic character and original appeal.

Condition Report
Overall, this piece is in presentable condition considering its age and previous use. The key and lock are both working; however, the lock fitting does not sit directly into the side panel. Despite this, the door opens and closes as it should.
The glass has attractive, naturally aged bubbling consistent with its age and remains intact, with no breaks. The drawer also opens and closes smoothly. The backing is a newer replacement, as the piece did not have its original back when acquired.
There are some areas of chipped or missing decorative wood detail, as shown in the photographs. The piece has developed a deep, natural patina throughout, adding to its authentic aged character.
Please bear in mind that this is a genuine old and original item that has been used and enjoyed over many years, so signs of age and wear should be expected. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and accurately show the condition.
