Overview
Designed by Nigel Coates this mannequin was used in a limited display collection for Jigsaw clothing retailers in the 1980s specifically in their London Knightsbridge store. Coates worked with jigsaw to design distinctive display objects to make their shop stand out from the rest. Coates post modernism style of using polished chrome was illustrated in all the different styles of mannequins he produced as this was a limited range of designs. The arms on this example are full articulated, and it shown signs of natural wear from use.
