A fine 17th century moulded gilt wood frame, decorated with a loose and flowing sqrafitto design.

The vast majority of the original gilt work is still present, some minor sections of loss to the gesso nothing you wouldn't expect due to the age of the piece.

A slight warp to the frame along with some elderly signs of woodworm, a intresting pyrogravure makers mark on the reverse likely achieved with a hot poker
