Item Details

A very well executed early 19th century English school oil on canvas painting of a white bull terrier.

The terrier stands next to his empty bowl awaiting supper in a stable, the original lap jointed stretcher is in good order strong and taut.

Consistence age related craquelure to the painted surface, and fading to the gilt frame.

Appears to be two small areas of restoration on the left hand side.

Frame 49/41/5.5cm
