A fine ink and hand tinted etching by Peter Jacques
Little is known about Peter, he was a printmaker, working in etching and watercolour, who studied at the Camden art center London, then located to Arkwright road, Finchley road, at the edge of Hampstead London. He frequently was accepted for exhibitions at the Royal Academy’s Summer art show, (82,84,85 and 1986)
This particular piece is called
"A Small Unimportant Man With Large Important Pictures, Entertaining A Large Important Man With Small Unimportant Pictures" Its a Satirical scene, signed and dated (1979) bottom right and numbered bottom left 19/25.
The print has been sympathetically framed in a thin ebonised bull nose frame 74cm/55cm.
