The Zambezi is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. It's home to a wide variety of animals including giraffe, lions, leopard, hippo and crocodile and would have been unfortunately a ripe place for hunting in the early 20th century.
