Item Details

A striking and rare English hammered coppertable lamp from the late Art Deco period. Handcrafted entirely from copper, this distinctive piece features a removable matching copper shade detailed with double rows of pierced circular borders.

The lamp shows a beautifully sculpted silhouette, with a double-conical pedestal stem rising from a substantial, low-slung domed base. The hand-beaten repoussé surface retains its spectacular original patina, showcasing a rich, iridescent finish with vibrant warmamber undertones.

An exceptional statement piece that perfectly bridges late Arts & Crafts metalwork and bold 1930s design.

Excellent vintage condition with a magnificent original surface. Rewired and PAT tested to modern safety standards.
