A splendid, large early 20th century French majolica asparagus cradle serving dish in a design by Creil & Montereau, Circa 1910. Beautifully decorative with large twin-handled tray base of textured leaves holding a raised curved cradle of cream asparagus spears. This striking serving piece has an historic repaired crack, otherwise is in good working order and large enough to hold a feast of asparagus spears.
