An outstanding quality set of vintage barware: designed by Lino Sabattini for Christofle in 1959, a pair of large silver plated wine cooler with matching smaller ice bucket which retains the original ice melt tray and ice grabber tongs. In superb conditon with very little wear, this is a rare and much sought after set.Renowned for his innovative Modernist designs, Lino Sabattini collaborated closely with Gio Ponti and served as director of Christofle's creative workshops for seven years from the mid 1950s. Highly collectable, his pieces highlight simple, clean and yet sophisticeddesigns.
