An exceptional and rare part set of Art Nouveau Secessionist glassware by Freiherr con Poschinger, Bavaria, in their green enamel ‘Cube’ pattern dated 1906. These tall glasses are the perfect size for short cocktails such as Martini and each hold max 90ml.Poschinger glass has an illustrious history and their glasses haveadorned the tables and residences of many international Royal families since it’s foundation in Bavaria in the 1600s. The von Poschinger glassworks were suppliers to the courts of the Bavarian and French kings. Even the Czar's court in St Petersburg enjoyed the excellentdrinking-glasses made in the famous Bavarian Forest. King Ludwig III of Bavaria and King Friedrich August III of Saxony spent a few days on the Oberfrauenau estate, went hunting in those forests, and visited the glass factory in Frauenau.
