Charming Painted Embossed Leather Four-Leaf Dressing Screen, Circa 1910


A beautifully crafted four-fold dressing screen, each leaf upholstered in close-nailed, embossed leather. The design features intricate scrolling flowers, foliage, and parrots, all highlighted with bold, hand-painted colours that bring the surface to life.


The reverse frame is finished in a black ebonised paint.


In good condition for its age, with minor losses and some stable splits to the leather, consistent with age and use.


Each leaf measures 56cm wide and 192cm high.
