This is a truly remarkable antique Italian bust of a female Santo that was discovered recently in Rome. It dates from the 18th century and it is entirely hand carved from wood that was partially gilded and painted. Through the passage of time a magnificent distressed patina has been created that in my opinion only brings forth its true unique beauty and splendour today. It measures about 33.5 x 17 x 13 cm or approximately 13.1 x 6.6 x 5.1 inches and it is exactly as I discovered it. For the full condition please refer to the images!
