This is a stunning antique Italian bowl in the shape of a clam shell that is entirely hand carved from white marble. Dating from the 19th century, originating from the region of Venice, this exceptional treasure was once used as a holy water font. Its elegance and beauty are truly outstanding. Carved with great mastery it measures about 35 x 29 x 10 cm or approximately 13.7 x 11.4 x 4 inches. This is a highly decorative item that would elevate any stylish and unique interior.
