An expressive and well-modelled antique bronze garden fountain circa 1900 depicting a young boy being sprayed with water by a frog. This whimsical design makes a playful water feature for a garden fountain or pond, the design piped so that the frog cheekily squirts water into the boy’s face, which is modelled with a disgusted expression. Cast in solid bronze, this antique garden fountain has a beautiful timeworn quality, having stood the test of time for more than 120 years.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. Lightly sandblasted. It is piped and as such there is a protruding copper pipe to the back.
