Item Details

An antique sarcophagus hob grate in the manner of George Bullock. This English Regency period grate is constructed in striking cast iron and brass and finished in black granite polish.

The original brass decorative elements include front and rear lion paw feet, a lion mask with ring handles to the sides, Anthemion and Palmettes to the front. The perfect pairing for a large Georgian era fire surround.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. Polished black graphite polish. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor Losses, scuffs, and scratches.
