Item Details

Though this antique carved English oak fireplace dates from the late 19th century, it draws inspiration from eras across the ages. It is elaborately carved throughout and handcrafted from good quality English oak, ready for installation in pride of place in a main room of a property. Details include elaborate Jacobean style panels to the frieze, stylised column shaped jambs carved with gothic-esque details and a pair of lion heads holding rings beneath the shelf – for an extra flourish of stateliness and majesty!
