An original antique cast iron hob grate, originating from late 18th century England, circa 1790. Decoratively cast with ornate vertical decoration, an urn and two birds to either side, this Georgian hob grate pairs flair with functionality, bringing traditional style and heritage to any fireplace.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Black graphite finish. No makers marks. As is the nature of antique hob grates, it is slightly distorted by heat and so doesn't quite sit flat; this doesn't affect the function.
