A charming carved and gilded antique putti pair, originating from late 18th / early 19th century Italy, perfect for hanging on an interior wall. Carved in pine and gesso, the piece depicts two cherub masks, each before a magnificent pair of angelic wings.


Made at the hand of a talented woodworking artisan more than 225 years ago, this putti pair have an aged, timeworn look with losses to the gilding in places that only adds to their unique beauty. They will look stunning as the centrepiece to a feature wall, situated above a console or mounted above a mantelpiece!
