Item Details

An early 20th century English ecclesiastical arched stained glass window, circa 1925. At first glance, this reclaimed window appears to simply be a colourful abstract piece; but look more closely and you’ll notice the flock of doves, flying over trees and down a valley towards a large burst of light.


Using colourful panes of stained glass, this window plays cleverly on the eye, telling a story of nature and light. Perhaps once part of a larger arched window, this panel’s myriad of glass colours will look beautiful in any setting.


Dimensions for glass only, excluding temporary frame.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. Unsigned. One crack in bottom centre panel. Small section of lead missing from lower right corner. Horizontal crack to purple hills on right. Fitted into a temporary pine frame. Photographed in front of a light box.
