A small Italian Grand Tour bust, circa 1780, depicting a patinated bronze gentleman in neoclassical dress upon a contrasting marble plinth. Once a Grand Tour souvenir acquired by an adventurer travelling across Europe during the 18th century, this small decorative bust is today a charming character for a desk, shelf or tabletop, adding a small piece of history to your home.

CONDITION REPORT

Good structural condition. Patinated finish. Bronze is hollow with a shaped timber insert which corresponds to wooden peg in the base. Transports as 2 pieces: bronze just places on top.
