A large 19th century English bronze round sundial plate with Verdigris finish in very good condition, circa 1870.


Made in bronze, this horizontal sundial plate has stood the test of time for over 155 years.


Though weathered with a character Verdigris patina, the sundial’s intricate engraving – reading “Shine thee more, bright happy hours” – can still be indistinctly read, telling the story of an old English country garden.
