A large 19th century religious stained glass window in an unusual later oak frame.


Beautifully detailed and vibrant, this stained glass panel depicts Jesus and Saint Matthew observing a woman kneeling before them holding them hem of Jesus’ garment. The glass itself is almost 2m tall, making an impressive feature window in any space.


It is intended to be a freestanding interior screen, but could be used as a window by cutting off the top finials. The partial scripture to the base panes could also be removed if not desired.

Good structural condition. Various historic repairs. No apparent cracks. Fitted into a later oak frame. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor Losses, scuffs, and scratches.
