A pair of 17th century medieval style carved oak panels, sourced from an ex private collection of a 17th century manor in East Anglia.


The pair showcase handcarved knights standing over stylised beasts within arcades, complimented by the rich dark tone of the wood.


Dating to circa 1650, this pair would make handsome wall decoration, sitting in pride of place in a period property looking to highlight Jacobean, Tudor, and medieval styles.


CONDITION REPORT


Good structural condition. There is wire and cloth to the back for wall hanging. One has a repaired vertical split. Various knocks, surface wear, and abrasions. Historic repairs.
