A beautifully weathered pair of antique limestone lion statues, crafted in circa 1900 but made in an earlier 18th century style.


Carved in a partially seated position with front paws on the ground in a stattant position, these antique lion statues are depicted looking opposite directions. This makes them ideal for placement either side of a walled garden entranceway, path or arch, bringing character and interest to any outdoor space.


Bases: 45.5 x 22 cm


CONDITION REPORT
Good structural condition. Weathered. No signs of repair. Some wear to the mouth areas. One has a loss to the underside of the jaw.
