A pair of antique English handcarved oak panels depicting nobles in medieval and Jacobean styles, circa 1850.

Each of an expert quality after more than 170 years, these wall panels both depict a bust of a male and female noble figures encircled and surrounded foliage designs. The figures face one another, perhaps once designed as part of a marriage panel.

The quality of these panels is certainly to be celebrated, the carving and colour having stood the test of time for over a century.

Together, they will look stunning on the walls of a period interior as well as a neutral, modern space alongside complementary dark wood furniture.
