An impressive set of 10 large antique buff terracotta ball finials dating to circa 1880.
Combining the desirable neutral tone of the lightly weathered terracotta with striking stature, these pier balls are nothing short of impressive!
Finding a set of 10 is a rare and fortunate find; such a set would look stunning displayed in a charming garden or perhaps acting as gate finials across several entrances of a prestigious estate.

CONDITION REPORT
Good structural condition. Lightly weathered. Due to the handmade nature each one varies slightly in size. There are small chips, losses and nibbles etc. On 4 of the bases there are some chips to the back, so they could be fitted in their original position. All stable.
