A delightful pair of mesh-seated chairs discovered in a brocante near Biarritz. Unusually, the mesh remains in excellent condition for their age, a testament to the quality of construction.


Made nearly 200 years ago, they retain original traces of green and white paint and have developed a rich, untouched patina over time. Crafted with care using rivets, clips, and wire, they reflect early garden furniture craftsmanship at its best.


Highly decorative and full of character—suitable for use both indoors and out.
