A striking and substantial pair of French cast stone planters, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each planter features attractive decorative mouldings and stands on individual lion’s head feet.


Deep and well proportioned, they are ideal for trees or large shrubs and work particularly well positioned either side of an entrance, gateway, or formal approach. The planters are in good structural condition, showing only the expected wear and surface ageing consistent with their age and use.


Rare, impressive, and highly decorative, this pair would make a bold and architectural statement in a garden or courtyard setting
