A handsome Italian lead planter of square form, decorated on each side with a finely modelled lion’s head set within a patterned border.


The softly rounded rim balances the strong architectural shape, while years of natural weathering have given the lead a beautifully mellow surface. Generously proportioned, it would make a striking centrepiece planted with a small tree or an abundant seasonal display.


The seams remain intact, and the planter is in good overall condition ready for its next home.
