This exceptional mid-19th century dining set in original condition is a very rare find from the hilltop village of Menerbes in Provence. You can tell it was hand forged as the chairs are all very slightly different sizes with everything being either forged, clamped and riveted together. You can see traces of the original paint throughout both the table and chairs which we have now sealed to preserve the attractive patina and protect the set from the UK weather. The only new addition is the marble top. The original perished and has been replaced with a new piece exactly the same size as the old.The whole set is in very good condition and comfortably sits 4 either inside or out.
