This increasingly rare pair of armchairs was manufactured by the Grassin Baledans foundry in the French town of Arras. Increasingly difficult to find, they survive in completely original, untouched condition, retaining all the character of their age. The chairs feature the distinctive lion’s claw feet associated with Arras furniture of the mid to late 19th century, along with a maker’s plaque attached to the frame. Very comfortable and could be supplied powder coated if required.
