Item Details

A fine Gillows flame mahogany Davenport. Raised on melon feet, with brass castors under and four drawers, a slide and pen drawer to the left and dummy drawers and a slide to the right. Above is a sliding top with a leather writing surface that lifts to reveal an interior of small drawers and atop a brass gallery. Of the very high quality Gillows are renowned for and with their impressed makers stamp. 920mm high, 510mm wide and 560mm deep. English. Circa 1840.
