https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/walpolesAn amusing painting, executed in oil on artists' board by C.W Nicholls RHA, offering something of a play on the fairy tale of Cinderella at the ball. The dashing prince, an officer of the First Life Guards, engages in conversation with his 'Cinderella' whilst the two ugly spinster stepsisters glower on disapprovingly.
Within a fine Victorian gilt gesso frame period to the painting.
