A great looking and finely executed marine diorama showing a ship in full sail heading for open seas and about to pass a lighthouse.


The ship has a finely executed wooden figurehead, plentiful rigging and finely carved wooden sails. The paint-work entirely original having never been opened, the case surrounded by a bird's eye maple frame with parquetry blocks at the corners.
