Equestrian cased novelty desk timepiece, the enamelled dial with roman numerals surrounded by a horseshoe with blue enamelled nails and leather-covered yokes to either side; the legs formed from crossed riding crops. Finished in silver plate and elctro-gilding. The case English, the movement Swiss, made by Buren, circa 1880.
