A late eighteenth or early nineteenth century French fruitwood crucifix.


Obverse carved with Christ crucified and at his feet Mother Mary; the reverse carved all over with the instruments of the Passion.


The central upright of the cross is a sliding cover over two sections, one retaining a relic; a small piece of green cloth and a piece of linen.
