Item Details

A good pair of George II brass candlesticks, English, probably Birmingham, circa 1760.

The two halves of the shaft are finely brazed, the vertical seam almost invisible, the scallop-shaped base finely cast and skimmed to remove and recover the excess metal.

8 3/8 in high One integral bobeche shows (barely) a crack, brazed.
