Portrait miniature of a British Officer in the East India Company, attributed to the hand of Frederick Buck. Within the original frame, to the reverse blue glass over silver foil centred with plaited hair of the sitter.


Painted on ivory.


2 3/4 in x 2 1/4 in (ignoring the suspension loop).


Provenance: By tradition from the family Sir Broderick Chinnery, 1st Bart. M.P. for Bandon
