A fine pair of needlework scissors made in a style inspired by the coral workers of Trapani in Sicily from the 15th century.


English circa 1850.


Both handles gilded and engraved, strengthened with lead solder where they join the steel blades.


Some fine old cracks to the coral. 3.75 inches long.
