An English sewing box made for the French market, Kingwood set with panels of Walton's Patent Crystalline Decoration, the lid with a varnished coloured engraving depicting soldiers before the Louvre. Pressed and gilt brass feet and escutcheon, the lining to the lid printed with a scene of Diana in her chariot drawn by hinds.


The blue and gold paper lined interior without fittings.
